The 2010 edition of the FCA Power Camp was once again an amazing week of “perspiration and inspiration”. Eastview Christian Church was hopping with nearly 400 people every day! With 300 campers, 55 huddle leaders, 9 staff members, and several volunteers running around, the church was buzzing with energy and activity.

Each morning was kicked off with praise and worship lead by a group of Gibson City High School students. Charlie Welke of Eastview followed up with a message about one of FCA’s four core values: integrity, serving, teamwork, and excellence. Then after the sports clinics, the kids broke up into huddle groups to further discuss Charlie’s message with their Huddle Leaders. After lunch came a “Chalk Talk” session in which ISU coaches and players shared about their faith.

Competitions rounded out the day, with some exciting trash can football and the always-enjoyable dodge ball. We couldn’t call it a complete day until we finished with the high-energy, song-and-dance, all-camp performance of “Jumpin’ in the House of God”!

There’s a quick highlight video following the break. Check it out and enjoy!
