Coach Steckel delivers encouragment at the 2011 Home Team Banquet
The 2011 Bloomington-Normal Fellowship of Christian Athletes Home Team Banquet was a huge success! Comedian Dennis Swanberg set the tone with his unique southern humor and spot on impressions. FCA President Les Steckel did a fantastic job of communicating the FCA vision and values.
We had a great turnout. Thank you to all who attended and all who made it possible. Please be sure to visit our sponsors on the right who helped make this afternoon happen. This was one of our best banquets for raising support. Many new Home Team members, but mostly great sponsorship and a terrific silent auction.
Because of the support and encouragement of the Bloomington-Normal community and surrounding area, we will have the opportunity to do a lot of ministry. The summer is shaping up to be full of great events, camps, and conferences to share the love of Christ and the message of the gospel with hundreds of athletes and coaches from our area!
